Bischof+Klein has once again been honored with the coveted WorldStar Packaging Award. In the "Packaging Materials and Components" category, the jury paid tribute to the innovative plastic packaging for coffee that sets new standards in terms of functionality, sustainability, and design.

The award ceremony took place as part of a festive gala in Milan. CSO Erik Edelmann accepted the award in person: "This award is a strong signal for our innovativeness, for our commitment to sustainability, and for the great teamwork behind this product."

The award-winning packaging solution is based on a recyclable mono material laminate that has been developed specifically for the requirements in the coffee segment. It combines product protection, durability, and outstanding barrier properties with complete recyclability – a significant step towards a circular economy.

Each year, the World Packaging Organisation (WPO) honors pioneering packaging solutions from around the world with the WorldStar Award. The award shows how technical excellence and sustainability can be combined to benefit the environment, economy, and consumers.
