In the spring, 13 committed trainees and their heads of training took part in the “Sauber macht lustig” (cleanliness is fun) campaign run by the Zweckverband Abfallwirtschaft (ZAW) Straubing (Straubing Waste Management Association).

With a great deal of enthusiasm and team spirit, they collected an impressive amount of waste. The diligent helpers filled a total of 15 sacks with waste. The items collected included numerous empty liquor bottles, cigarette packaging, and even an entire washbasin.

The trainees’ dedication impressively shows how important it is to assume responsibility for our environment. By doing this, they sent out a powerful message that each and every individual can do something for nature.
