“Real-life heroes” make all the difference in our daily lives. With their competence and positive basic attitude, they motivate their colleagues and lend us the momentum that makes a good team.

There are a whole lot of such real-life heroes at Bischof+Klein. At any rate, the initiative launched by Christian Niedfeld and his team has generated a huge response.

They launched their request for proposals at the end of last year: “We want to find and pay tribute to real-life heroes at Bischof+Klein. This means colleagues who exemplify our corporate culture with our ten values each and every day, and therefore enrich the working environment for all of us.”

Numerous pieces of paper bearing names were then placed in the box installed specifically for this purpose in the canteen. Many proposals were also received via a form in the employee portal.

Since then, the team has presented a colleague with a “Spartan” in our typical Bischof+Klein blue almost on a weekly basis. Produced on a 3D printer, this figure is based on the brave warriors of the Greek city of Sparta in ancient times.
