Bischof+Klein is once again a “WorldStar” within the international packaging industry. This time, we received the coveted award for our recyclable plastic film for coffee. The WorldStar Packaging Award 2025 highlights the environmentally-friendly mono-material laminate as innovative and pioneering in the “Packaging Materials and Components” category.

The “WorldStar” Award represents a selection of the best of the best, because it is only presented for packaging solutions that have already previously won a national award. Bischof+Klein won the Green Packaging Award in 2024 with its innovative coffee laminate.

In recent years, we have pursued the goal of integrating our coffee laminates into the circular economy. We have accomplished this by replacing laminates that cannot be recycled with more sustainable materials. The new laminates achieve recyclability of significantly more than 90 percent.
