Active learning culture at the plant in Telford

In February 2025, 48 of the company's UK employees took part in a training course on 5S workplace organization and 8D problem solving. The two-day training course was conducted on-site at the Telford plant by our external training partner In-Comm.

The participants first underwent theoretical training and also had the opportunity to take part in practical exercises in the production environment. Their feedback on the course and the training content was very positive and they stated that they were looking forward to applying the skills they had learned in their daily work.

Some employees were offered an additional further training opportunity in March 2025. They took part in a Six Sigma Yellow Belt training course. UK operations manager Alex Hammond commented: “This will enable the trained colleagues to strengthen our improvement projects at the Telford plant.”

Continuous skills development in the Telford teams is ongoing. Additional Yellow Belt and Green Belt courses for managing improvement projects and for optimizing setup times with SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die) are planned.
