The first global Bischof+Klein meeting on automation and digitalization took place at Bischof+Klein Konzell in February 2025. Representatives from all plants took part in this pioneering dialogue: Poland, France, the UK, Lengerich plant 1 and plant 2. The objective was to share experiences, identify challenges, and develop a joint strategy.

During a tour of the plant, the Konzell employees presented projects that have already been implemented as well as current challenges. The evening drew to a close with a Bavarian networking dinner at the nearby skiing resort.

On the second day, external experts for camera systems, driverless transport systems, and cobots were available for direct dialogue. Cobots are industrial robots that work directly together with humans in the production process.

The intensive dialogue enabled the identification of new solution approaches and optimization potentials. The day ended with the adoption of an initial strategic step for our global digitalization initiatives.

The participants were thrilled by the practical insights, the open dialogue, and the valuable inspirations for future projects. This meeting marks the beginning of even closer collaboration between the plants and our partners.
