“Now I’m really starting to learn again”

Jannick Stein with trainer Klaus Rogge

After winning an award as a top trainee, life for Jannick Stein is continuing in his department of choice

Jannick Stein is one of the best in his year. He completed his industrial mechanic training at Bischof+Klein in Lengerich with outstanding grades and was presented with an award as one of the top trainees by the chamber of trade and commerce (IHK).

After obtaining his higher education entrance qualification at the technical grammar school in Osnabrück (specializing in metal technology), he decided to embark on a training course at Bischof+Klein. The training program in the training workshop and training center, as well as the support provided by seconded specialist trainers, proved a perfect match for his interests and prior knowledge.

“I benefited from that, of course. It was relatively easy for me to achieve good grades. That’s one of the reasons why I was able to shorten my training,” he reports. He is now working in the locksmith’s shop for the film extrusion department. “That was the department I wanted to be in,” he says delightedly. However, he also says: “Now I’m really starting to learn again.” He is now acquiring experience and gaining specific expertise with various machine types and control technology. “The support from my colleagues is outstanding.”

Learning will remain his constant companion in the evenings and at weekends. His in-service study program began in September. “If all goes well, I’ll complete my Bachelor of Engineering in four and a half years.”
