Dear Employees,
It is fascinating to see everything that happens at Bischof+Klein between two issues of the magazine. Looked at rationally, it is hardly surprising when 2,600 people are hard at work with values such as a proactive approach, responsibility, performance, or an active learning culture. Our corporate culture, reliably borne by ten values, is once again clearly visible on every page of the magazine.
This year, the framework conditions for Bischof+Klein are challenging. Reduced economic growth, declining customer demand, the crisis in key industries – all of this news leads us to suppose that 2025 will not necessarily prove any easier.
However, Bischof+Klein has become more robust. This is partly due to the increased productivity and the purchasing improvements that we have succeeded in achieving in numerous areas this year. Over 400 projects have contributed to this. We would like to thank all staff who are dedicated to Bischof+Klein, who contribute their ideas, and who are always looking for improvements. That is how excellence is achieved!
This issue is focused on Bischof+Klein Konzell, which can look back at a successful history spanning 65 years. We would like to offer our congratulations on a unique combination of tradition and upheaval, increasing efficiency, ever-keen ambition, and new top performances time and again.
Our efforts do not remain in the shadows. During the second half of the year, we were presented with the German Packaging Award and the Green Packaging Award. Bischof+Klein UK was delighted to receive an FIA Silver Award and an EFTA Diamond Award for brilliant printed images. Congratulations and thanks for your outstanding work!
We are celebrating these successes in this magazine. Occasionally, though, we also do it for real, one example being the summer barbecue at Bischof+Klein Lengerich. Lots of extremely positive feedback shows that our idea was well received. We are now hoping that we will have cause to celebrate next year, too. Promising possibilities for doing so are offered by new projects and also the collaboration between the plants, whether in purchasing, sales or production, for instance.
We are looking forward with anticipation to the new year and the first issue of the magazine in June 2025. We are particularly keen to see how our cultural transformation progresses. We will continue to drive this process forwards with our own resources and invite everyone to participate. It concerns the sustainable development of our company. Everybody is called on to contribute.
First, however, we would like to wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a good start to the new year with good health and hopefully more peace in the world.
