The first U-Pack^® ffs line was put into operation in Konzell in mid-August. This cutting-edge line marks a crucial step in the implementation of our U-Pack® strategy.

One outstanding characteristic of the KST 4010 is the integration of a winder. This means that it is the first U-Pack^® line that is able to manufacture flat film tubes on reels. This innovative technical equipment enables a significant increase in product quality while contributing to increased performance and productivity at the same time.

With an impressive length of 60 meters, the line is not only the longest one in Konzell; with a variety of different units, it also enables a particularly wide range of equipment, including various handles, formats, front sliders, front zippers, and side gussets.

Putting this modern line into operation marks an important step towards the future of Bischof+Klein and underscores our commitment to innovation and quality in the packaging industry.
