Bischof+Klein uses social media as a digital stage

Social media is an indispensable tool for making Bischof+Klein visible as an innovative company and for interacting with our community. We share exciting insights, news, and developments concerning our products, projects, and sustainable initiatives on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

For us, social media is also a way to recruit talented new employees, expand our network, and communicate our values. We show what happens behind the scenes and let our team have their say.

Successful relaunch
In the spring of 2023, Bischof+Klein successfully relaunched itself on social media: A dynamic Instagram presence with stories* and reels* was the first measure implemented by our colleague Vera Gaidies, who had just joined the marketing team at that time. The social media expert also increased the frequency of our posts* on LinkedIn.
 

The figures speak for themselves (see information box). Bischof+Klein has also been present on TikTok since December 2023.

When Vera Gaidies went on maternal leave at the end of 2024, Ann-Kathrin Turmann took over her responsibilities and continued to expand Bischof+Klein’s presence on all channels. Both colleagues have since joined forces for Bischof+Klein on social media and have also reactivated the trainee blog.

* Explanation of terms

  • Stories – An Instagram Story is a photo or video that can be enhanced with stickers, text or music. It disappears again after 24 hours.
  • Reels – An Instagram Reel is a short video (up to 90 seconds) with music, effects and edits that is shared in the feed and the Reels discovery page.
  • Posts – A post describes the general contribution on social media platforms, which can contain text, images, videos or links. 
  • Reichweite – The reach indicates how many different users have seen a social media post.
  • Follower – Followers are users who follow a social media profile and regularly see its content in their feed.
