AD Plastic line for manufacturing cross bottom valve sacks

Lengerich staff pay a visit to Pont-Audemer

For the first time, Bischof+Klein France was able to welcome colleagues from the production department in Lengerich for an exchange of experience. Focus was on work safety during the production of cross bottom valve sacks on the AD Plastic lines. In the form of Uwe Winter, Ismail Payyu, Tim Alex Töws, and Dardan Zeqiri, the company played host to three experienced ADSP machine operators and their technical manager from Bischof+Klein Lengerich.

Improving productivity is crucially important for being successful in the long term. However, this must not be achieved at the expense of safety. In this regard, the colleagues discussed light barriers and doors that control access to moving modules at great length.

Technical issues, ranging from adjusting the suction systems and positioning the valve to comparing welded and non-welded valves, were also discussed. The participants were happy to share proven solutions and benefitted from valuable support during their implementation.

This exchange established an important bond, which is to be strengthened in December with a visit by the French colleagues to Lengerich. Common goals include safety, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
