IHK presents awards to Bischof+Klein trainers

They are used to accompanying their former trainees to chamber of trade and commerce (IHK) award ceremonies for top trainees. The fact that they themselves are presented with awards by the chamber of trade and commerce is somewhat unusual: some of Bischof+Klein's trainers recently enjoyed a varied evening at the GOP theater in Münster. The IHK chose this special backdrop to present them with certificates and pins for their voluntary work as examiners.

The packaging processing engineers, in particular, have been examined by Bischof+Klein employees for a number of decades: Peter Donothek and Klaus Rogge served as examiners for 30 years. Rainer Prey (already retired) was an examiner of trainee packaging processing engineers for 20 years. Harald Rosteck (also retired) examined the trainee electricians for 30 years.

Their work as examiners took them to numerous packaging companies throughout the region. “Of course, that involves a certain amount of effort,” says head of training Klaus Rogge. “But it's also always interesting to get to know other companies and specialists.”

Bischof+Klein is also extensively involved in training and examining media designers. Florian Luchterhand has already been an examiner for 22 years; his award ceremony took place during the coronavirus pandemic. During a visit to the company, IHK employee Petra Mädel presented our colleague Andrea See with the silver pin of honor for 20 years of work as an examiner.

After completing their “printing template producer - repro preparation” training, both employees underwent industrial foreperson training in the field of printing in 2002 and have actively accompanied digital transformation. “What’s nice about being an examiner is that we always stay up to date,” says Andrea See.

Incidentally, Bischof+Klein’s expert knowledge has also been integrated into the IHK examination regulations, particularly for the vocational profile and training regulations for packaging processing engineers.
