Ukrainian employees in Conversion department
Since the beginning of 2024, the Walce plant’s workload has been increasing significantly compared to the past two years. The need for production employees is therefore also growing.
In the past, many Ukrainian men worked in Poland and also at Bischof+Klein in Walce. That changed with the start of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Today, an increasing number of Ukrainian women are working on the conversion lines. They were warmly welcomed in Walce and have settled in well. The population is more than willing to help the Ukrainians at this difficult time. All share the hope that the situation in their home country will soon improve and everyone can live in peace.
