As part of the modernization of its extruder fleet, Bischof+Klein France recently put a new FFS blown film line into operation. It has now also been fitted with a 2+2-color inline printing module. Before the new film is wound up after being extruded, it can be printed with two colors per side. At the same time, a side gusset can be implemented and embossing applied.

This additional equipment significantly increases the FFS production capacities in Pont-Audemer. Downstream printing is no longer in demand in a hotly contested market. Inline printing reduces the waste rate and level of work and significantly boosts productivity. We would like to wish the teams every success with this new extrusion line.
