The expansion of clean room extrusion is bang on schedule. The new extruder tower at plant 1 can be seen from afar. In July, the steel structure will be clad, clean room walls will be built, and ventilation systems and sprinklers will be installed.

The aim, once the lines have been validated in the spring of 2025, is to supply customers with packaging material from the new clean room of class 5 at rest as of the second quarter.

The extrusion lines for high-purity films will be bundled in one location in the future. All main components will be supplied via new silos. The only exception to this will be additives and secondary components. Thanks to modern extruder technology and optimized process organization, the CleanFlex^® department’s capacity and efficiency will be significantly increased in the future. 

Space will also be available for further lines in anticipation of continued growth.
