Dear Employees,

You are holding the first “hybrid copy” of our employee magazine in your hands! This printed version outlines a number of exciting topics over 16 pages, and is aimed at enticing you to continue reading in the online magazine. This is sustainable: Available everywhere, the digital magazine reduces costs and saves paper and printing ink. We hope that you will go along with this development.

This issue is focused on you as the target group of numerous Human Resources department activities. Our Human Resources colleagues have redefined and restructured their tasks. Their new focuses include specifically fostering your interests and talents, supporting managers in their role as coaches, and advising on HR strategy. What is certain is that your knowledge, your skills, and your motivation are key to Bischof+Klein’s success. Our goal is to constantly remain one step ahead of the competition. We need you to achieve that!

The five international awards won for packaging solutions from Bischof+Klein in 2023 show that we are heading in the right direction. At the start of this year, we followed on directly from this achievement with the double WorldStar Packaging Award for the “Full PE Pouch 3 Liter Recyclable” and the “PowFlex® vs” valve sack.

Impressed, we can look back at one year of the “new Bischof+Klein brand” and the numerous products that have been developed as a result of the roadshow. Your suggestions, dear employees, have set a great deal in motion and sparked a cultural transformation. How do we want to work together in the future? Which values offer us orientation? Exciting workshops are being conducted on this and our “culture pilots” are highly committed to it. Our aim is to ensure a Bischof+Klein that is fit for the future and to which we are dedicated with all of our strength.

Happily, the order situation has picked up during the first two quarters of this year. We do not yet know how long-term this trend will be. However, we can proudly state that we came through the difficult year that was 2023 well together.

Our subsidiary companies also got 2024 off to a good start. This development is positive on the whole. At the same time, we have to make an additional effort within the GROUP to get back on a successful track following the difficult last year.

In view of geopolitical developments, this also presents us with further challenges, which we intend to face with excellence. Remarkable projects that give us cause for optimism have also been initiated to achieve this. Our appeal to you is to remain on the ball, because we need each and every individual on board!

We would like to wish you and your families a relaxing and carefree holiday period.
